Chanhassen, Minn. – Snap Fitness, the world’s fastest growing franchise system featuring
compact, state-of-the-art fitness centers, announced that they have partnered with
ConnectMeVoice. ConnectMeVoice will provide a hosted private business exchange (PBX)
service designed to improve the quality of information that every caller receives
when they contact a Snap Fitness franchise location.
“In addition to the many features available with this service, each one of our franchisees
will save money on their phone bills,” said Peter Taunton, CEO and Founder of Snap
Fitness. “We’re always looking for ways to help our franchisees and the combination
of benefits in sales, efficiency, and costs savings all in one package was a very
attractive offer.”
The service, called SnapComm, includes call recording for all inbound and outbound
calls. Users can have all of these recordings sent directly to their email or listen
to them anytime by using the company’s online portal. Users can get an immediate
dial tone to make unlimited inbound and outbound calls.
SnapComm, allows users to forward calls coming into their local, toll-free number,
or to as many as six Snap Fitness digital phone numbers. Callers may be greeted
by the Snap Fitness pre-recorded information greeting and there is also a separate
toll-free dedicated fax number that is included free with all plans.
Faxing gets easier too for franchisees as well. Users may simply click to print
a certain document and then select ConnectMe Fax from the printer choices, completely
replacing fax machines and fax phone lines.
“Getting the right phone system was important, since a high percentage of our sales
come from phone calls,” added Taunton. “This new service has been shown to have
a direct and measurable impact on our franchisees’ sales and retention efforts.”

N.J.-based telecommunications technology developer, ConnectMeVoice, also known as "ConnectMe," offers hosted PBX solutions for small and medium-sized businesses so they can take advantaged of advanced communications capabilities that traditional phone services lack.
According to officials with Trellis, not only does the company use all of ConnectMeVoice's services including hosted PBX, 800 number, inbound and outbound fax, auto attendant and more, but is also a volume buyer - so they can extend price incentives to clients as well.
By offering a number of methods to resell solutions, ConnectMeVoice ensures agents can become successful at what they do. From putting a link on the company's site with agent referral codes, to special direct links, and sign-up pages - the options help guarantee reseller success are endless.
Most businesses are looking for cost savings. Right, yes, they always are, but the search takes on a certain urgency in a down economy. One way businesses are finding to shave expenses is to install hosted PBXs.
According to ABI Research, worldwide revenue from such systems totaled only $869 million in 2008. By the end of 2014, annual earnings are expected to exceed $2 billion. Systems should eventually penetrate mid-range hotels, but initial implementation will be seen mainly in the top-tier properties that cater to those willing to spend $300 or more per night.
"Since hosted PBX solutions require minimal up-front capital, with low monthly fees, they can often save a small company several hundred dollars a month on their phone bills, and much more for the larger enterprise," an official with a N.J.-based telecommunications technology developer said during a recent TMCnet podcast.
Seltzer noted that the company, which has been offering services since 1991, was originally known as "American Voicemail Network" and has grown from a company offering hosted voicemail and messaging for small businesses to one that know offers what Seltzer says are "the most sophisticated hosted PBX platforms available."
