The system connects callers to you through your Internet phone, or follows you to any other outside telephone:

1. When somebody calls your ConnectDirect number, they be can be greeted by an auto-attendant (e.g. Thank you for calling the ABC company, please enter the extension of the person you wish to speak to, press 0 for the operator, or 9 for a company directory)â?� or, they can be connected right away, without the need to enter any extensions, it's your choice!
2. Now, the caller selects an extension (if you have selected to use extensions).
3. Next, if you have selected call screening, the system will ask for the caller's name, otherwise, will just put the caller right through!
4. Your callers will hear music-on-hold or custom information about your company, while the system locates you and connects you to your caller.
5. Follow-me calling is now used to determine which numbers we can use to reach you. The caller may be connected to your ConnectMe Internet phone, or it can also find you at a cell phone, or any other telephone number you may wish! The calling is all based on the time of day, and day of week. Setting up FollowMe is fast and easy with our online portal.
6. Once the caller is connected to you, you can elect to take the call, or send to voicemail.
7. Voicemail messages can then be retrieved by email, or directly on your Smartphone!
