ConnectMe, LLC was originally known as American Voicemail Network (AVN), and was founded in 1990 as a voicemail service bureau. Its founders had experience in the earliest PC-based voicemail systems and used that knowledge to build a service which was flexible and low cost with leading edge features. AVN was the leader in distributed voicemail messaging and rotational voicemail, and was a pioneer in features like one-number follow-me calling, web interface, and speech recognition.
This tradition continued throughout the 1990s, as AVN's customer base continued to grow. In 2001, AVN became known as ConnectMe, with flagship products known as "ConnectMeVoice." ConnectMe is among one of the first provider to offer a full featured Virtual PBX, allowing a small business to communicate like a large organization without the need to purchase any equipment. In addition to providing our products directly to business consumers, we also provide our products through resellers, channel partners and licensees. ConnectMeVoice continues to evolve, and intends to remain the leader in creating communications systems for business professionals.
